Coming soon · Launching October 25
Shoulder rolls without fear, bruises, or a stiff neck.
My new course starts with the why: the anatomy and biomechanics behind every roll, and what’s really going on when fear stops you. Then we roll, through 10 variations and 5 combos.

Why rolls don’t work, and what to do about it
“I’m scared to go over.”
Fear isn’t a character flaw. It’s your nervous system protecting you. I explain where it comes from and how to retrain it step by step.
“It hurts my shoulder or neck.”
Pain usually means the roll is going through the wrong line. You’ll learn the rolling line across the shoulder girdle that keeps your neck free.
“I get stuck halfway.”
Getting stuck is a momentum problem, not a strength problem. Once you understand force and momentum, the roll finishes itself.

What’s inside: 23 lessons
Theory, 10 roll variations, 5 combos, and a warm-up and cool-down you’ll come back to.
Before you go to the floor, I explain why rolls go wrong and what to do about it.
- Biomechanics of the shoulder: the shoulder girdle and the rolling line
- Neck and spine: keeping the load off your neck
- Force and momentum: why rolling is physics, not muscle
- Nervous system: balance, fear, and how your body learns a new path
What you need to practice
- Space & mat. About 2 square meters (~20 sq ft) of clear floor space at home and a yoga or fitness mat. No dance studio needed.
- Clothing & gear. Comfortable clothes that cover your skin, knee pads, and socks so you slide smoothly without friction or bruises.
- Time. A 20-minute guided warm-up plus bite-sized lessons of 15–30 minutes each. Practice at your own pace whenever you have time.
What my students say about how I teach
“Every little detail is explained. As a beginner, that makes the difference.”

“Being aware of what is actually happening during the move made it much easier to perform.”
